Dr. Sima makes one small entry point, slides a very fine laser fibre in just under the skin and moves it slowly around the area. The heat makes the collagen already in your skin contract. After that, over the next few weeks, your body lays down new collagen. Some of the fat in that layer breaks down as well.

Which Parts of the Leg Can Be Treated?
Thighs, knees and lower legs are three different cases. Dr. Sima checks each one before she says yes or no.
Inner Thighs
Most people come in about this area. The skin loosens here first after a change in weight, and there’s often a small fat pocket underneath. Endolift can deal with both in one sitting, as long as the looseness is mild to moderate.
Outer and Front Thighs
These are a bit different. If the skin is only slightly loose and there isn’t much fat, Endolift can help. Lots of fat? Liposuction is usually the better route.
Knees

Who Is a Good Candidate for Endolift for Thighs?
It could be a good fit if:
- The skin on your thighs is mildly to moderately loose
- You have a small fat pocket on the inner or outer thigh

It’s probably not for you if:
- You have a lot of excess skin, because a thigh lift is the realistic fix

What Happens During Treatment
- Consultation. Dr. Sima asks about your medical history, checks your skin and listens to what you want changed.
- Prep. The team cleans the area and marks it up.
- Numbing. You get local anesthesia, so you’re comfortable.
- Fibre in. It goes through one small entry point.
- Laser. Dr. Sima works the fibre under the skin in slow passes.
- Aftercare. You go home with written instructions and a follow-up plan.
Expect 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the area.
Recovery and Downtime
It’s nothing like recovering from a surgical thigh lift. Roughly, this is what to expect.
First 48 hours. Some swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising is normal. Most people carry on with their day within a day or two.
First week. The swelling and bruises fade in about 5 to 7 days. Give hard workouts, hot baths and saunas a miss for the first few days.
Weeks 2 to 12. Collagen keeps remodelling and the tightening builds slowly. Dr. Sima checks how you’re doing at your follow-up.
A few habits help along the way. Keep the area clean, wear sunscreen every day, follow your written instructions and don’t skip the follow-up.
What Results Look Like
Don’t expect a before-and-after overnight. Some tightening can show within weeks, but the full result takes 2 to 3 months while the collagen builds. After that it often holds for 2 to 3 years, depending on your age, skin quality and lifestyle. One session is usual. Sometimes a second one, 3 to 6 months later, is needed.

Is Endolift Safe? Risks and Side Effects
It’s a medical procedure, so a trained, licensed doctor should do it, and only after assessing you first. Swelling, redness, bruising, tenderness, a tight or warm feeling and temporary numbness are all common. Less often, people get skin irritation or burns, uneven contours, firm lumps or temporary nerve-related changes. Good technique and careful patient selection keep those risks down. Does it hurt?
Not much, for most people. The area is numbed first, so at most you’ll feel some pressure or warmth. A bit of soreness for a day or two afterwards is normal.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually one. Some people need a second session 3 to 6 months later.
Can it get rid of thigh fat?
Small pockets, yes. A larger amount, no. That’s liposuction territory.
Does it work after weight loss?
For mild to moderate looseness, it can. If there’s a lot of extra skin, you’ll probably need surgery, and Dr. Sima will tell you which side you’re on.
